Sonali is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Hodges Digital Strategies. As a technologist with a marketing bent, she effectively navigates the space between Marketing and IT. Sonali first fell in love with consumer-facing technologies when she led projects at PeopleSoft to convert client-server based ERP systems to the web.
Ever since, she has helped hundreds of clients use digital technologies effectively, in order to achieve business goals. Her clients have included KPMG, Johns Hopkins University, Capital One, the US Mint and Virginia Commonwealth University. As an early tinkerer of social technologies, her company was one of the first third-party app developers on Facebook. Products she built have garnered many accolades for creativity, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Art’s MUSE award in 2009 and mentions in publications like the LA Times and Richmond magazine.
Sonali has a Master’s in Engineering (Bio-Medical) from Texas A&M University and an executive MBA from the College of William and Mary. Hodges Digital is a Program Partner for Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s VALET Program – which seeks to increase the global competitiveness of Virginia’s companies. Sonali sits on the boards of RichTech and Richmond Montessori School.
Sonali received Style Weekly’s “Top 40 under 40” honor in 2008. She is passionate about encouraging more young women to embrace careers in technology.
